Nagarjuna Nallam

Nagarjuna Nallam is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), with his office located in room 226 of the Advanced Centre for Electronic Systems (ACES) building.

Dr. Nallam earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 2014, following an M.Tech. in VLSI Design Tools and Technologies from the same institution in 2009, and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad in 2007.

His research focuses on Analog, RF, and mm-Wave Integrated Circuits, with particular emphasis on innovative architectures for wireless communication systems. His work addresses critical challenges in noise reduction, power efficiency, and bandwidth enhancement in modern RF circuits.

Dr. Nallam's publication record demonstrates significant contributions to N-path filter design, mixer-first receiver architectures, and noise-canceling techniques, with multiple papers published in prestigious IEEE journals including the Journal of Solid-State Circuits and Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques.

Prior to joining IIT Kanpur, Dr. Nallam served as Assistant Professor at IIT Guwahati (2014-2021), Staff Engineer at Qualcomm Bangalore (2021-2023), and Principal RFIC/Analog Design Engineer at Hanwha Phasor Ltd. UK (2023-2025), demonstrating a successful trajectory bridging academic research and industry application.
