Naeim Rahmani is a Lecturer in the Music department at Bellevue College, where he teaches Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, and Music Appreciation. He is based in the Performing Arts division and is an active member of the college's music faculty.
His research and artistic interests focus on contemporary classical guitar, commissioning new works, and fostering cross-cultural collaborations between Iranian and American musicians. As the founder and Artistic Director of the Seattle-Isfahan Project, he leads initiatives that explore themes such as climate change, displacement, and cultural identity through music. His work emphasizes expanding the classical guitar repertoire by commissioning underrepresented composers and promoting repeated performances of new pieces.
Naeim has received prestigious recognition for his artistic contributions, including the 2022 Goethe-Institut Residency Award and the 2023 CityArtist Award from the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture.

He is also a booking coordinator for Aranjuez Artists, Inc., and actively performs in intimate and non-traditional venues. He mentors emerging artists through collaborative projects and has worked with composers such as Huck Hodge, Farzia Fallah, and Parisa Sabet. He has no formal advisees listed, but his leadership in SIP provides mentorship opportunities.
Naeim leads the Seattle-Isfahan Project, a collaborative artist ensemble that creates new music connecting Seattle and Isfahan, Iran. The project has produced works like "The Wheel" and "33," and is preparing "Displaced Voices," to be performed at Seattle Symphony’s Octave 9 and possibly at Volunteer Park’s water tower.
