Nadja Wilker is a researcher at the Department of Political Science II within the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Her work focuses on political (online) communication, participation, and concepts of political representation.

She has contributed to projects like ERLE (Success factors of local e-participation) and coordinated the HHU Düsseldorf branch of the Network for Social Computing Research (NOTRE).
Her publications analyze topics such as digital civic participation in German municipalities, legitimacy of e-participation, and internal party democracy in the digital age. She has taught courses on political theory, political systems, and social sciences at HHU Düsseldorf.
