Nadja Millner-Larsen is a Visiting Professor at New York University in the Experimental Humanities & Social Engagement program. Her research focuses on queer and feminist art practices, post-Marxist theory, and the visual culture of leftist movements. Notable works include Up Against the Real: Black Mask from Art to Action (2023) and contributions to journals like GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies and Grey Room.
Education: PhD in Media, Culture, and Communication from NYU (20??). Previous affiliations include the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, University of London, and the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College.
