Nadiya Nur Ali is an Assistant Professor at Trent University's Durham Campus, affiliated with the Sociology department. She holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto, an M.A. from Carleton University, and a Ph.D. from York University. Her research focuses on race, racialization, and anti-Black Islamophobia, engaging with Black Studies, Critical Ethnic Studies, and Critical Muslim Studies. She teaches courses on social theory, racism, and social policy.
