Nadine Reibling

Prof. Dr. Nadine Reibling is a Professor of Health Promotion and Health Equity at the Hochschule Fulda's Fachbereich Gesundheitswissenschaften (Health Sciences Department). Her research focuses on medical sociology, health equity, and the intersection of medicine/psychology with social policy. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences (summa cum laude) from the University of Mannheim and has held positions at Harvard School of Public Health and the University of Siegen. Key research areas include healthcare system comparisons, family health policies, and the biopsychosocial welfare state framework.

Recent work explores medicalization processes in unemployment and poverty contexts, pandemic-related health behaviors, and health disparities. She leads DFG-funded projects like PARENTHEALTH (examining parental health behaviors) and participates in EU-funded initiatives analyzing healthcare access.
