Dr. Nadine Cruz Neri is a Researcher in Educational Psychology at the University of Hamburg's Faculty of Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Universität Hamburg and conducts research at Universität Bielefeld concurrently.
Her research examines language's role in subject learning, predictors of reading/writing performance, dyslexia interventions, and diversity aspects like gender stereotypes and multilingualism in education. She developed LATIC, a linguistic analysis tool for educational texts.
Recent publications investigate linguistic patterns in STEM textbooks, multilingual teaching practices, and comprehension differences between text genres. Her work appears in Educational Psychology, Exceptional Children, and PLoS ONE.
