Nadija Abu Samra is a Researcher at Khalifa University's Biological Sciences department, with affiliations to the Biotechnology Center (BTC). She holds a BSc in Biotechnology from the University of Sharjah (2016) and an MSc in Molecular Medicine from the University of Reading (2019).
Her research focuses on:
- Genetic associations of coronary artery disease in type 2 diabetes
- Gestational diabetes in Emirati women
- LRRK2 gene pathogenesis in Parkinson's disease
- Personalized obesity management using multiomics approaches
She has contributed to projects under Dr. Habiba Al Safar and Dr. Wael Osman, and gained clinical experience at Mafraq Screening Lab during the COVID-19 pandemic.
