Nadia Shapkina is an Associate Teaching Professor of Sociology at Kansas State University's Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work within the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Georgia State University (2008), an M.A. from Central European University (2000), and earlier degrees from Saratov State Technical University, including a Candidate of Sciences (1997) and B.A. in Social Work (1995).
