Nadia Ibrahim-Taney is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati's College of Cooperative Education and Professional Studies (CPS), specializing in Information Technology and Cybersecurity education. She holds a BS in Administration of Justice and Sociology from the University of Louisville (2007), M.Ed in Higher Education Administration from Suffolk University (2011), MA in Education Leadership from Roehampton University (2014), and an MS in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati (2023). Her career spans roles in career development, including Assistant Director of Career Development at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, where she strengthened employer-student connections. She is certified in Inclusive Teaching through the Ohio Professional Development Consortium.
Her research focuses on cooperative education innovation, neurodiversity in STEM workplaces, LGBTQ+ inclusion strategies, and holistic student well-being. Notable contributions include reimagining cooperative education curricula through authentic guest speaker integrations and developing frameworks for neurodivergent student career transitions. She actively collaborates with national organizations like NACE and ASEE.
Teaching responsibilities include courses on career management, diversity in professional settings, and design thinking ethics. She advises students on co-op policies and collaborates with retention teams to support at-risk students. Her work emphasizes bridging educational practices with real-world employer expectations through scalable, empathetic methodologies.
