Nadia A. Rogers

Nadia A. Rogers is a Professor of Practice and Robert M. Brown Faculty Fellow at Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business, Department of Accounting and Information Systems. She serves as Director of the Master of Accounting and Information Systems (MACIS) Program and advises Accounting Analytics, Audit, and Financial Services options. Her roles include Vice Chair and educator member of the Virginia Board of Accountancy, member of the AICPA Board of Examiners, and co-chair of the AICPA’s Information Systems and Controls Task Force.

Education: B.S. and M.S. in Accounting & Information Systems, Virginia Tech; Master of Accountancy. Formerly a partner at Creedle, Jones & Alga, P.C., and senior manager at KPMG’s Audit Practice.

Research Interests: Focuses on information systems controls, CPA licensure reforms (CPA Evolution Initiative), auditing standards, and regulatory compliance. Active in peer review oversight and professional education.

Awards: Robert M. Brown Faculty Fellow, recognized in VSCPA’s Disclosures Magazine for leadership in accounting education.

Advising & Grants: Oversees MACIS program collaborations, including KPMG’s Master of Accounting with Data & Analytics Program. Engaged in curriculum reforms for CPA licensure.
