Nadezhda Panayotova

Nadezhda Panayotova is a Chief Assistant Professor in the Department of Puppet Theatre at the Faculty of Performing Arts, National Academy of Dramatic Arts and Film “Krastyo Sarafov”. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Speaking (2011-2012) and a Bachelor’s in Acting for Dramatic Theatre (1998-2002), both from the same institution. She has been a part-time lecturer there since 2010, assisting in rhetoric and stage speech instruction.

Her artistic career spans extensive stage performances, including roles in classical plays like 'The House of Bernarda Alba' and modern musicals such as 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. She has also participated in children’s theatre productions and documentary theatre projects like 'Mothers' by VOX Populi. Notably, she has contributed to animated film dubbing for major studios like Disney and DreamWorks, voicing characters in 'Frozen', 'Tangled', and 'Star Wars'.

Her awards highlight contributions to theatre and animation, including recognition from WDCo for promoting 'Frozen'. She remains active in Bulgaria’s cultural scene through teaching, stage work, and community projects targeting minority youth.
