Nader Mobed

Nader Mobed is a Professor in the Department of Physics within the Faculty of Science at the University of Regina. He maintains an active research program focused on theoretical physics and teaches multiple courses across undergraduate and graduate physics curriculum.

Dr. Mobed's research centers on the intersection of quantum physics and relativity. His work explores formulations of quantum phenomena on the curved space-time background of general relativity, with particular focus on identifying observable consequences in atomic and subatomic physics. He also investigates effective field theories, specifically the low-energy effective field theory of strong interactions and gravity. His research aims to understand the energy regime where general relativistic effects become significant in microscopic phenomena, potentially shedding light on unified theories of quantum physics and gravity.
