Nada Hadzic-Andelic holds the position of Professor II at CHARM (Research Center for Habilitation and Rehabilitation Models & Services) at the University of Oslo and serves as R&D Manager at Oslo University Hospital's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has been active in academic and clinical roles since 1996, with significant contributions to traumatic brain injury (TBI) research and interdisciplinary rehabilitation strategies.
Education includes a Cand. Med. from Belgrade University (1982) and a PhD from the University of Oslo (2010). She is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Her research focuses on TBI outcomes, rehabilitation efficacy, musculoskeletal disorders, and health-economic analyses of treatment protocols.
Key collaborations include leading the Oslo Traumatic Brain Injury Outcome and Rehabilitation Research Network (OBIOR) and participation in the EU's CENTER-TBI project involving 60+ institutions. Over 100 publications span journals like Scientific Reports, EClinicalMedicine, and Neurosurgery, emphasizing biomarker analysis, outcome prediction, and comparative effectiveness research.
Active editorial roles include serving as guest editor for Frontiers in Neurology and Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine. She leads research groups addressing TBI rehabilitation pathways and coordinates international clinical trials evaluating interdisciplinary care models.
