Na-Young Rho is a Research Fellow affiliated with the Oktay Lab at the Yale School of Medicine. She holds a PhD in Reproductive Biology from the University of Guelph’s Ontario Veterinary College, Canada. Her expertise spans molecular biology, Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), and ovarian tissue cryopreservation. She specializes in techniques such as single-oocyte qRT-PCR, RNA-sequencing, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT), and both slow-freezing and vitrification methods for ovarian tissue preservation.
Her current research focuses on deciphering mechanisms underlying accelerated ovarian reserve loss with age. Dr. Rho’s work integrates advanced molecular and reproductive technologies to address challenges in fertility preservation and regenerative medicine.
