Dr. Na Wang is an Associate Research Scientist at Yale School of Medicine's Department of Neurology. Her research investigates synaptic dysfunction mechanisms underlying cognitive decline, with expertise in glutamate receptor trafficking and oligodendrocyte differentiation. She earned her PhD in Neurobiology from Zhejiang University and utilizes multidisciplinary approaches to study neural pathways affected in neurodegenerative conditions.
Her recent publications in PNAS and Glia examine molecular regulators of synapse maintenance and myelination processes. Collaborative projects with Dr. Sreeganga Chandra explore transcriptomic signatures of synaptic health, while her earlier work established connections between metabotropic glutamate receptors and neurodevelopmental conditions.
