Na Liu is a Senior Lecturer in the Business Information Systems Discipline at the University of Sydney Business School, and Postgraduate Program Coordinator for the BIS Specialisation in the Master of Commerce Program. She holds a Ph.D. and BComp from the National University of Singapore. Prior to her current role, she was a Lecturer at the University of Sydney’s School of Computer Science and worked in industry consultancy.
Her research focuses on digital innovation in health and wellbeing management, particularly addressing health disparities through digital technologies. Current projects emphasize digital health inclusion for rural populations and women in developing countries. Methodologically, her work integrates behavioral research, qualitative approaches, and analytical methods.
Key awards include the Sydney Business School Emerging Scholar Fellowship (2025-2026), Dean's Research Impact Award (2024), and NBMLHD Quality Award (2021). She has secured grants such as the 2024 FemTech Design grant for mental health support in rural areas. Her advisory work includes mentoring digital health startups and collaborating with clinical partners.
Notable publications span telemedicine systems, remote patient monitoring, and mobile health app design. She leads projects on health literacy apps, chronic disease management, and digital transformation in healthcare systems.
