Dr. Myrto Mylopoulos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Carleton University's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Holding a Ph.D. from CUNY, an M.A. from Simon Fraser University, and a B.A. from the University of Toronto, she specializes in philosophy of mind, philosophy of action, and philosophy of cognitive science.

Recent publications examine practical reasoning with attention mechanisms (2025), conscious architectures (2024), and neurobiological theories of consciousness (2022). Her work reveals consistent themes in agentive awareness, skill theory, and the psychological complexity of action systems.
