Myriam Villeneuve-Lapointe is an Adjunct Professor in French Didactics at the Faculty of Education, Université de Sherbrooke (2020–present). She previously held lecturer roles at Université de Sherbrooke (2018–2020), Université de Montréal (2014–2020), and Université du Québec en Outaouais (2014–2020). Her research focuses on literacy education, lexical spelling, early childhood literacy, and teacher training in French didactics.
Her academic work explores differentiated instruction, integrated spelling pedagogy, and multimodal literacy in preschool and primary education. She has secured significant grants from the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Société et culture and the Quebec Ministry of Education for projects on literacy development and sustainable educational practices.
