Mușeanu Elena

Mușeanu Elena is an Associate Professor and PhD at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest, Romania, serving as Director of the Department of Foreign Languages and a member of the University Senate. She teaches English, business communication in English, intercultural communication, and Romanian as a foreign language for the Preparatory Year for Foreigners.

She graduated from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Bucharest and earned her PhD in Philology under Professor Dr. Angela Bidu-Vrănceanu.

Her research spans Linguistics, Terminology, and Intercultural Communication, with emphasis on English-language business contexts. She has published over 35 articles in scientific journals and co-authored university textbooks, reflecting expertise in language pedagogy and cross-cultural dynamics.

She coordinates the annual international conference "Crossing Boundaries in Culture and Communication" and participates in national/international research projects. Professional affiliations include the Romanian Society for the Study of English and American Studies (SRSAA) and the Pan-Latin Terminology Network (REAITER).
