معرفی
Dr. Mustafa BUĞDAY is a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies at Karabük University's Eskipazar Vocational School. He holds a PhD (2024) and MSc (2018) in Mechanical Engineering from Necmettin Erbakan University, and dual BSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering (KTO Karatay University) and Business Administration (Anadolu University). His research focuses on advanced materials, structural mechanics, and applied engineering.
Research Interests: Dr. Buğday specializes in optimizing material behavior under mechanical and thermal stresses, with emphasis on:
- Finite element modeling of smart composites/nanoplates
- Auxetic structures for impact-resistant designs
- Wear-resistant surface coatings via electro-spark deposition
- Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for aerodynamic systems
Publication Trends: Recent articles (2023-2025) reveal a strong focus on:
- Thermomechanical behavior of sandwich structures
- Nanoscale wave propagation in functional materials
- Surface engineering for industrial components
- Aerodynamic optimization of mechanical systems
Projects & Collaborations: He contributed as a researcher to the project "HADDE MERDANELERİNİN ESD YÖNTEMİ İLE YÜZEY MODIFİKASYONU" (2022-2024). Though no formal student supervision is documented, he has co-authored works with 123+ researchers across computational mechanics and applied engineering domains.
