معرفی
Mustafa Aziz serves as an Associate Professor in Applied Electromagnetism and Education Lead for Electronic Engineering programmes at the University of Exeter's Department of Engineering. With over twenty years of expertise, he specializes in magnetism, magnetic materials, and phase-change materials for next-generation data storage, computing technologies, and electromagnetic devices.
His research spans Nanotechnology, Functional materials, and Engineering electromagnetics, focusing on multi-physics modeling of magnetic nanostructures and phase-change kinetics to develop high-speed, low-power memory systems and reconfigurable computing devices. Industry collaborations have yielded electromagnetic inspection tools for oil/gas pipelines and compact actuators for wearable health technologies.
As Education Lead for 15 years, he secured funding for state-of-the-art teaching infrastructure, achieved three IET accreditations, and supervised numerous student projects. His industry partnerships through UKRI grants and consultancy address real-world challenges in electromagnetic device engineering.
