Dr. Georgios Veronis is a Professor at Louisiana State University's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the Center for Computation and Technology. He holds the Rubicon Professorship of Engineering and directs research in nanophotonics and plasmonics.
His research focuses on:
- Nanoscale photonic devices and plasmonic structures
- Computational electromagnetics and photonic materials
- Reconfigurable optics using phase-change materials
- Topological photonics and non-Hermitian systems
Honors include SPIE Fellowship (2023), NSF CAREER Award (2013), and multiple endowed professorships. His recent publications explore topological photonics, phase-change materials, and nanoscale optical devices.
