Musheera Abdellatif

Musheera Abdellatif is Associate Professor in Public Health & Health Sciences at University of South Dakota. With MD and PhD qualifications, her research examines attachment theory across cultures, trauma-informed care, and neuropsychiatric disorders.

Leads an attachment research lab mentoring students. Teaches disability studies, developmental psychology, and pathophysiology. Certified in multiple therapeutic approaches including EMDR and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Nominated for diversity awards including Champions of Inclusive Excellence. Research spans oxytocin effects on attachment, telepractice delivery, and caregiver interventions.
