Musabber Ali Chisty is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka, and a Ph.D. student at the Department of Sociology, University of Colorado Boulder. He also serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a graduate affiliate at the Natural Hazards Center. His research focuses on disaster risk reduction, vulnerability assessment, and community resilience, particularly in flood-prone and urban areas of Bangladesh.
