Murray Holland is a Professor of Physics and Fellow at JILA, a joint institute of the University of Colorado Boulder and NIST. His research focuses on quantum gases, optical lattices, superfluids, and superradiant cavity QED, with applications in quantum sensing and precision metrology. He collaborates extensively with experimental groups at JILA and leads projects in NASA’s Quantum Pathways Institute to develop space-based quantum instruments.
