Muriel Marnet

Muriel Marnet is a Lecturer in Educational and Training Sciences at the Université Catholique de l'Ouest (UCO) Niort, where she also serves as Educational Manager for the first-year program in Educational Sciences. She is affiliated with the LIRFE research lab and collaborates with LACES. Her doctorate (2019) from the University of Bordeaux focused on territorial dimensions of teacher socialization in rural contexts.

Her research explores inclusive education, environmental education integration, rural school dynamics, and governance of educational territories. Key themes include teachers' professional adjustments to inclusion policies, the impact of spatial contexts on educator identity, and the interplay between community and institutional educational frameworks.

Recent work includes studies on disability inclusion challenges, collaborative research in Niort, and comparative analyses of rural educational networks. She participates in interdisciplinary initiatives such as the 'ADDITEP' addiction education program and projects on pandemic-era educational adaptations.
