Prof. Murat ÖZ is a Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Üsküdar University. He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2006, completed his specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Zekai Tahir Burak Women's Health Hospital in 2011, and his minor specialization in Gynecological Oncology Surgery in 2016. He became an Associate Professor in 2018 before attaining his current rank.
His research focuses on pharmacokinetics, therapeutic drug monitoring, microbial electrolysis systems for wastewater treatment, and neurology-related genetic studies. He has pioneered work on pharmaceutical waste management using bioelectrochemical systems and developed novel analytical methods for drug metabolite detection in clinical samples.
