Zekai GENÇ, born in 1963, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Forensic Sciences at Uskudar University. He holds a PhD in Social Sciences (2005) from Istanbul University, an MSc in German Language and Literature (1995) from Yüzüncü Yıl University, and a BSc in German (1987) from Gazi University.

Zekai GENÇ's research spans Forensic Sciences, Questioned Documents, Graphology and Forgery, Drug-Related Crime, and Probation. His work extends to Forensic Nursing, Cyberbullying, Migration Studies, and the Sociocultural Impact on Crime. He has supervised numerous theses on topics such as child abuse reporting scales, youth drug use in rap music, and obstetric violence among midwives.
Recent Publications reflect expertise in forensic document analysis education, child victim profiling in human trafficking, and forensic competence in healthcare. His 2025 Scopus-indexed paper examines Turkish rap lyrics as a lens for youth drug behavior, while 2023 studies include teaching profession handwriting analysis and nursing evidence collection protocols.
Administrative Roles include membership in educational, graduation, and disciplinary commissions at Uskudar University since 2019. He also contributes to the Forensic Sciences Group and the Civil Surveillance Project (2019–present).
