Murat Uysal is a Professor and Founding Chair of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Özyeğin University, Istanbul, Turkey. He serves as Founding Director of the Center of Excellence in Optical Wireless Communication Technologies (OKATEM) and leads the CT&T Research Group. Previously, he was a tenured Associate Professor at University of Waterloo, Canada.

- Specializes in wireless and optical communication theory, with 400+ publications and 17,000+ citations
