Murat DAĞ is a Lecturer at Kırşehir Ahi Evran Üniversitesi’s Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu (Vocational School of Health Services), Department of Medical Services and Techniques, Opticianry. He holds a PhD from Texas A&M University (2016), a Master’s in Physics from Kırıkkale University (2010), and a Bachelor’s in Physics Teaching from Selçuk University (2006).
- Current affiliation: Kırşehir Ahi Evran Üniversitesi (2019–present)
- Previous: Research Assistant at Ahi Evran Üniversitesi (2017–2019)
His research focuses on nuclear physics, astrophysics, and radiation detection, with a particular emphasis on particle-γ detector arrays, nuclear isomer studies, and proton-induced reaction cross-sections. He has explored topics like low-energy γ-ray enhancements and quasi-discrete nuclear structures in rare-earth isotopes.
His publications span nuclear reaction dynamics, detector technology, and fission cross-section analysis. Key trends include neutron transfer mechanisms, nuclear spectroscopy, and experimental instrumentation for particle identification. Collaborations with institutions like Texas A&M University and projects on radon concentration and nuclear reactor materials highlight his technical and applied research.
