Murad Ismayilzada is a Junior Research Fellow in Economics (full-time) and part-time Lecturer at the University of Tartu's School of Economics and Business Administration under the Faculty of Social Sciences. He holds a Master's in Quantitative Economics (2024) and is pursuing a PhD in Economics focusing on technological changes' labor market impacts. His research interests include labor market dynamics, technological innovation, education mismatch, and productivity growth.

Research Focus: Murad explores how technological advancements reshape labor markets, the consequences of overeducation in workforce productivity, and innovation-driven productivity growth. His work integrates econometric methods to analyze economic systems and policy implications.
Projects: Participates in the Innovation Complementarities and Productivity Growth project (2020–2025), led by Priit Vahter, funded by the Estonian Research Council (€1,213,125).
