Munjal Acharya, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Anatomy & Neurobiology and Radiation Oncology at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Medicine. His research focuses on understanding and mitigating neurocognitive deficits caused by cancer treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy. He holds joint appointments in both basic science and clinical departments, reflecting his translational research approach.
