Mukesh BARANGE

Mukesh BARANGE is an Associate Professor at CESI, affiliated with the 'Engineering and Numerical Tools' research team. His work focuses on Human-Computer Interaction, Virtual/Augmented Reality, and Multimodal Systems. He leads the NEXUS research project (2023-2026) and supervises Tristan LANNUZEL's PhD on collective intelligence in immersive environments.

Research Interests: BARANGE explores adaptive empathic agent behavior, multimodal interaction analysis, and collaborative virtual environments. His work bridges machine learning, social robotics, and educational technologies to enhance human-machine collaboration and immersive experiences.

Teaching: He instructs computer science and engineering courses for Engineers (3rd–5th year), Masters, and Bachelor students at CESI.

Labs/Teams: Part of CESI LINEACT's research group, contributing to interdisciplinary projects in digital twins and human-agent interaction.
