Prof. Mujaheed Shaikh holds the Robert Bosch Stiftung-funded Professorship of Health Governance at the Hertie School in Berlin. His work bridges health economics and policy, focusing on health expenditures, hospital efficiency, health insurance, and global health funding. He earned a doctorate in economics from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and a Master's in International Health Management from Imperial College London. Previously at Vienna University of Economics and Business, he has published in top journals and won awards for impactful research. Key research interests include governance of health systems, donor funding dynamics, and policy-research integration.
