Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Memon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). He serves as Director of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program, focusing on advancing clinical and research excellence in vascular neurology. His training includes fellowships in Endovascular Neuroradiology, Interventional Neuroradiology, and Vascular Neurology at institutions like Rutgers University and the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Dr. Memon's education includes Neurology residency at George Washington University and dual internship experiences in Internal Medicine and Neurological Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. His clinical expertise spans acute ischemic stroke management, carotid stenosis, intracranial atherosclerosis, brain aneurysms, and minimally invasive neurointerventional procedures.
His research emphasizes the clinical impact of endovascular techniques, including mechanical thrombectomy outcomes and procedural innovations.
