Muhammad Abdullah Khokhar

Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Khokhar is a PhD candidate in Mathematics at the University of Tasmania's School of Natural Sciences, Discipline of Mathematics. He holds the role of Graduate Teaching Fellow and has prior experience as a Lecturer at the University of the Punjab. His primary affiliation is with the University of Tasmania, located at Room 324 Math-Physics Building, Sandy Bay Campus, TAS 7005, Australia.

He completed an M.Phil. in Mathematics (2021) from the University of the Punjab, where he also served as a part-time Teaching Assistant and Lecturer. His research focuses on matrix-analytic methods, stochastic modeling, and applying these to healthcare systems and evolutionary biology. His current project, 'Models for hospital patient flow: Decision-making in a challenging environment,' explores practical solutions to optimize patient flow using mathematical and probabilistic models. He is also passionate about integrating AI and machine learning into healthcare management.

Khokhar is a member of the 'Designs for a Better Patient Journey' group (collaborating with the Tasmanian Department of Health) and affiliated with the Australian Mathematical Society (AustMS) and the Association of Australian Mathematics Students (AAMS). He is fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, with proficiency in academic peer review in these languages.

His research outputs include studies on m-polar spherical fuzzy sets applied to medical diagnosis and pattern recognition, contributing to advancements in fuzzy logic systems for decision-making. He aims to bridge theoretical mathematics with real-world healthcare challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration.
