Dr. Moya Sanchez, Daissy Hatblathy is a Lecturer affiliated with the Department of Organization, Business Management and Product Design at the University of Girona. She contributes to the Multidisciplinary Tourism Research Laboratory (LMRT) and the Institute for Tourism Research (INSETUR).

Her research focuses on integrating technology into education, digital marketing for hotels, and social impact initiatives in tourism education. She pioneered Colombia's first virtual course in 2010 and developed the Diploma in Digital Marketing for Hotels. Her work spans educational program design for public schools, ICT training for Cuban tourism entities via Fundación Hanns Seidel, and knowledge transfer between academia and the GHL hotel chain, where she served as a doctoral fellow and virtual training leader.
