Mousami Prasad

Dr. Mousami Prasad is a Research Fellow at the Energy Transition Hub within the Crawford School of Public Policy and the Zero Carbon Energy for Asia-Pacific Initiative at Australian National University. Her research examines energy economics, energy efficiency technologies, and climate change mitigation strategies with focus on industrial decarbonization pathways.

Specializes in assessing economic dimensions of energy transitions, technology adoption barriers, and policy frameworks for sustainable energy systems. Current work investigates hydrogen economy development and cross-sectoral decarbonization approaches.

Holds a PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay where she received the Excellence in Thesis Award for research on Environmental Performance of firms in India. Previously worked on economic impact assessments of educational institutions.
