Moshfeq Timory

Moshfeq Timory is a Doctoral Researcher at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) in the Department of Agricultural Policy. His work focuses on water governance and Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) with regional expertise in Afghanistan and Central Asia.

• Education: Master's degree from German-Kazakh University (Almaty, Kazakhstan)
• Double Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering and Geological Engineering from Afghan institutions

His research examines institutional frameworks for water governance in Afghanistan, comparing systems with Central Asian countries. He has participated in international programs related to GIS, SDGs, and climate change in Japan, China, Thailand, Iran, Kazakhstan, and UAE.

Current projects include AG-InstitutionsNaturalResources (Institutions and Natural Resources) and AWAGO (Water Governance and Peacebuilding in Afghanistan).
