Moshe Y. Vardi

Professor Moshe Y. Vardi is a faculty member at Rice University since 1993. He was appointed an honorary doctorate at the IT Faculty of the University of Gothenburg in 2020 for his contributions to logic in computer science, including foundational work in database theory, program verification, and finite model theory. He has published extensively with over 300 co-authors and is known for revitalizing the Communications of the ACM as its editor for a decade.
