His research spans
- Marine Ecology
- Population Dynamics
- Invasion Biology
- Stress Physiology
- Ecological Modeling
- Nutrient Cycling
Recent publications (2024-2025) highlight climate change effects on Fucus species, sustainable Fucus management using UAVs, invasive species impacts, and carbon cycling in kelp ecosystems. While no specific awards are listed, his editorial roles (Marine Ecology Progress Series, Aquatic Botany) and international collaborations reflect academic recognition.
