Morning Liu

Morning Liu is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Biomedical Engineering, University of Sydney. She is affiliated with multiple research centers including the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre, The Centre for Drug Discovery Innovation, The Net Zero Institute, and The University of Sydney Nano Institute.

Her research spans interdisciplinary domains such as:

• Stimuli-responsive drug delivery systems
• Plasmonic biosensors and computational modeling
• SSVEP-based traumatic brain injury diagnostics
• Topology analysis of neural feature maps
• Organ-on-a-chip microfluidic platforms
• Nanotechnology for gene therapy

Recent publications focus on nanocarrier design, biosensing algorithms, and biomedical signal processing. She received a 2024 grant for AI-enhanced drug discovery targeting subretinal fibrosis in age-related macular degeneration.
