Dr. Moreed Arbabzadah is the Hugh Price Fellow at Jesus College, University of Oxford. He holds a BA, MPhil, and PhD in Classics from Jesus College, Cambridge. His research focuses on Medieval Latin, Ancient Greek, and the study of magic in antiquity, with recent emphasis on cultural exchanges between the Low Countries and England during the Middle Ages and Renaissance. He co-authored three chapters in North Sea Crossings (2022), a book exploring Anglo-Dutch literary connections. He collaborates on Leverhulme Trust projects, including studies on Gerald of Wales and Anglo-Dutch relations.
Research affiliations include the Oxford Centre for Medieval History. His work integrates Digital Humanities and Religious History, addressing themes like the History of Communication and Science in Medieval contexts. He contributes to interdisciplinary projects at Jesus College and collaborates with institutions such as the Bodleian Library.
