Her research explores medical technologies like Sweden's abortion pill and intrauterine devices (IUDs) from 1960-1975, analyzing how these tools co-produced cultural values around feminism, population control, and reproductive rights. Supported by the Riksbanken Jubileumsfond, her work bridges history of science, gender studies, and healthcare policy.
Morag's publications include her 2021 dissertation The Swedish Abortion Pill, which examines the socio-technical development of medical abortion from 1965–1992. Her research highlights the entanglement of scientific innovation with political and ethical debates surrounding reproductive autonomy.
