Mor Weiss is an Assistant Professor at The Alexander Kofkin Faculty of Engineering, Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Prior to this role, she held postdoctoral positions at Northeastern University (2019–2021) and the FACT Center at IDC Herzliya (2021–2023). She will participate in the Cryptography 10 Years Later: Obfuscation, Proof Systems, and Secure Computation Visiting Scientist program from July 14 to August 15, 2025.
Education:
- PhD in Computer Science, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, advised by Professor Yuval Ishai
Research Interests: Mor's research focuses on the theoretical foundations of cryptography and its intersection with complexity theory, particularly in the design of efficient proof systems and cryptographic protocols for modern computing systems. Her work bridges theoretical and practical aspects of cryptography, targeting advancements in secure computation and obfuscation techniques.
Academic Affiliations: During her postdoctoral studies, she collaborated with the FACT Center at IDC Herzliya, a hub for cryptographic research and computational innovation.
