Yuval Ishai

Yuval Ishai is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, currently on sabbatical at AWS. His research focuses on cryptography, particularly secure multiparty computation, efficient proof systems, and their connections to computational complexity theory.

Research Interests span foundational cryptography, lattice-based algorithms, and decentralized systems. He has contributed to advancements in secure computation and error-correcting codes through collaborations at institutions like UCLA and the Simons Institute.

Academic Leadership includes serving as Program Chair for TCC 2011, Eurocrypt 2019, and Eurocrypt 2020. He organized the Cryptography 10 Years Later program at the Simons Institute in Summer 2025.
