Montanari Ugo

Ugo Montanari is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Pisa, a position he has held since 1976. Previously, he was a Researcher at the IEI Institute of the Italian National Research Council (1971–1976). His research focuses on theoretical computer science, including concurrency semantics, process description languages, constraint programming, and distributed systems.

Research Interests: Montanari's work spans foundational areas such as graph rewriting systems, coordination models, and algebraic/categorical concurrency models.
