Monta Madelāne is an Assistant Professor at Rīga Stradiņš University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Infectology. She also serves as an Acting Assistant in the Department of Internal Diseases and Acting Lead Researcher at the Institute of Public Health.

Recent Publications: Her 2019–2018 work explores non-invasive liver fibrosis markers, Streptococcus pneumoniae epidemiology, and hyaluronic acid dynamics in HIV-infected cohorts. Contributions span journals like Proceedings of the Latvian Academy of Sciences and HIV & AIDS Review.
