Monika Schönhoff

Prof. Dr. Monika Schönhoff is a Professor of Polymers and Nanostructures at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, University of Münster, Germany. She has held this position since 2011 after serving as a Professor (C3) of Technical Physical Chemistry at the same institution from 2003–2011.

• Education: PhD in Experimental Physics (University of Mainz, 1994–1990), Diploma in Physics (University of Hannover, 1984–1990)

Her research focuses on polymers, nanostructures, and technical physical chemistry, with a historical emphasis on colloid science and interfaces. The group utilizes NMR equipment for advanced material studies.
